Ready to rove – new microphone and lens

For the upcoming Geelong Innovation Expo on behalf of the Geelong Manufacturing Council we will be doing roving Q&A as well as keynote capture.

After hiring the Canon 70-200mm F2.8 lens on several jobs (eg the Rainbow Serpent Documentary) I was quite happy to purchase the F4 version of the lens, as it is half the weight, half the cost and much easier to move around with.

Additionally the Rode Reporter mic fits with our Sennheiser wireless ‘plug-on’ transmitter, making it much more convenient for GMC staff to ask a question and point the microphone at a conference participant, rather than either having an overhead boom or putting wireless kits on both people.
