On the road to IPO, we attended a private investor announcement / Google partnership launch, coaching the CEO on camera and capturing insights from attendees, then used to produce investment engagement material for the capital raise.
Asked to capture and present the essence of the International Chamber House and 8 contributing International Chambers of Commerce’s International Women’s Day High Tea, including interviewing the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, the CEO of Global Victoria, the CEO of the Australia China Business Council and the CEO of Ranstand APAC, we had a ball – delivering an early IWD video, a highlight and 21 pieces of short content taken from 4 interviews!
Interviewing and supporting Philomena Manifold – Geologist, Author, Illustrator, Photographer and Philosopher – in relation to her “Written in Stone” project of the last 8 years, introducing her to the Australia China Business Council.
From their annual stakeholder event through to field interviews with company partners such as Mirvac and the Chairs of Melbourne’s most prestigious Strata Associations, we have layed in the foundation of The Knight’s digital marketing and video strategy, crafted their material and set them on the path to engaging growth.
Asked to capture and support the growth of Australia’s leading Tantric movement, focused on the integration of heart, body, spirituality and sexuality, we set about consulting, filming and editing, then supporting the deployment of content.
Working with Australia’s leading and largest Mixed Media Art and Papercraft Show, we provided digital business development consulting, then filmed at their event and provided a series of assets to use in ongoing promotion for the coming years #ArtMatters 🙂
The opportunity to present artists bridging cultural divides is one of the great privileges Bravo Charlie gets access to, and in the case of Janelle Da Silva, we were asked to capture and present her ‘Frankganistan’ show in a format to support audience engagement, national and international touring, along with grant submissions.
Asked by a strategic futurist and award winning facilitator, to capture the essence of his vibe, focusing on his high energy style, whilst giving him content he could use to promote his business and engage new clients, a brief 45 minutes over lunch, doing 5 short interviews and asking 3 questions of each person, was all we needed to get the material and deliver within a few days of the filming.
Our pro-bono effort for 2016/2017 involved directing a successful fund raising campaign from start to finish, including strategic partnerships and public relations, team management, leadership and training for fund raisers, with campaign support pre, during and post roll-out, including the technical integration of the fund raising campaign site and content on the RhythWave website, additionally we went back through ten years of photography, organising a film crew in the middle of a desert, shooting our own footage and photography over a week in Nevada, getting clearances from everyone involved, narrated, editing and published the main campaign video and follow up material.
During our time with DI we have more than doubled revenue and head count, expanded to a team of 10 in the Philippines, consolidated the service offering, restructured and simplified the client engagement process, refined the core messaging, rebranded, revised payment and legal terms, created compelling video content, gathered client testimonials, held regular events, implemented enquiry and content delivery automation, trained new team members, established effective account management processes, and became the highest level of Atlassian partner possible, whilst winning marketing awards as the most effective partner in the Asia Pacific region.
Through documenting ministerial speeches and their events, along with filming all senior staff and making short vignettes at various client sites, including Huyck Wangner, Aus Pits and Air Radiators, we supported the GMCs transition into digital.
Long time client, new company – we were out at the Immigration museum capturing the setup and then the event proper with a week or so inbetween to make this event promo for Engage at Disengo. Additionally we setup their new youtube channel, rejigged some existing video material and did in-house training on ‘how to make your own video content’.
Bravo Charlie were asked to film a documentary on the sustainability and waste management practices for Australias largest annual dance-music and lifestyle event, the Rainbow Serpent Festival, along with several shorts. There’s quite a lot involved making a video, have a read and a watch inside.

Contacted to tell the story of one of Victoria’s greatest homesteads, Bravo Charlie were tasked with supporting the private sale of Barunah Plains whilst positioning it as a potential ‘venue-for-hire’ going concern, firstly by creating a narrative video that told the story of this historical Australian estate home, briefed to us as ‘at it’s best ‘when full of people having a good time’ – so that’s what we did – filled it with people having a good time and filmed the story of it, creating the main narrative, shorter stories and then individual facility segments.
The only time we’ve ever done a wedding – for close family friends 🙂
Continuing our work with the Foresight connections of Swinburne University, we were tasked with creating a video report based on a written document, capturing 3 months of investigation on behalf of the Australian Business Deans Council to discover the changes Universities needed to make to effectively develop Globally Responsible Leaders.
Asked to do a series of still photos, we took bits of footage along the way and made this short video for a friend who brings a smile into a lot of lives.
A dance practice dear to my heart and an honour to document – along with the video material, a Social Media System (Wordpress website, facebook page, vimeo channel and newsletter system) was created for the clients, including teaching them how to use it.
